The clitoral hood piercing is a very popular female genital piercing.

Contrary to popular myth, the piercing only goes through the protective skin located above the clitoris and not actually through it. This means that it is easy to get done and won’t cause much pain, however can result in an increase in sensitivity.

Generally vertical placement results in more sensitivity to the wearer as well as faster healing

VCH (Vertical Clitoral Hood) [Tues/Wed/Thur/Sat]

Eyebrow piercings are a very easy one to get as there are very few nerve endings in the tissue and can be easy to heal if irritation is minimized for the first couple months. They can bring a tear to your eye during the piercing, similar to plucking out a hair.

They can suffer from migration as they slowly move shallower through the skin and may require a downsize in the future.^M Reducing irritation and bumping, even when healed, is crucial to the longevity of an eyebrow piercing.

Eyebrow

Male genital piercings are much more common than you would think and can offer the wearer increased stimulation as well as being aesthetically pleasing.

Fresh transurethral piercings (that pass through the urethral canal) can cause some mild discomfort during urination and sitting down during onesies is recommended. It is important that you keep to your normal routines during healing to ensure a comfortable and quick healing cycle.

Protected sexual activities can resume once you feel its comfortable, we generally say to wait a good 4-6 weeks.

As everyone's anatomy is very different, you are best to come into the studio for a free consultation.

Frenum [Tue/Wed/Thu/Sat]

Nostril piercings are a very common and generally considered socially acceptable, meaning you might be able to get away with it at most work places.

They are fun and easy to conceal once healed with freckle tops (sand blasted anodised titanium) or glass retainers. Although they will most likely bring a tear to your eye, they are not overly painful and over in a flash.

Although rings can be worn, a labret-style straight bar is much better for healing.  There are a number of different jewellery types available for nostrils, cork screws being the most commonly seen, however we suggest a secure push-pin design with a comfortable flat disc on the inside for the healing period.

Miscellaneous Torso

Tattoo 2 hours

Although inner and outer conches are similar in name, they are very different to heal and often require different jewellery.

The inner conch is more protected by the surrounding cartilage folds, and therefore can sustain a much taller and elaborate piece.

They can feel a little uncomfortable and a bit of pressure to get done, however they are very fast. Although rings can be worn once fully healed, we recommend waiting a minimum of 9-12 months to ensure it’s comfort and longevity.

Sleeping on the piercing isn’t recommended while healing as it will drastically reduce your success rate, as well as increasing your chance of scarring.

Inner Conch

﻿The term ‘Snocnch’ is a portmanteau (mash-up) of the piercings ‘conch’ and ‘snug’, as the snonch lies directly in between these two areas on the upper-snug rim that of the conch. Although many people have this structure, not al are suited for the piercing due to low clearances behind the ear.

Low profile jewellery is recommended for this ear, preferably flat to match the anatomy of the ear.

Sleeping on the piercing isn’t recommended while healing as it will drastically reduce your success rate, as well as increasing your chance of scarring.

Snonch

Tattoo 4 Hours

Tongue piercings are a very easy piercing to get and heal quite fast due to the vascular nature of the tongue, however that is also why talking and eating can be a little cumbersome at first because of swelling. They can be done either centrally or in multiples either through the center or sides.

An intermittent downsize is suggested after 2-3 weeks once the swelling has subsided, and then a final downsize after 6-8 weeks is important so you don’t bite the jewellery.

Eating can be a tad uncomfortable during the first week, however with correct aftercare it doesn't have to be painful.^M Stock up on soft foods for the first couple weeks and try to keep talking to a minimum.

Tongue

The Forward Helix (affectionately called ‘Felix’) piercings are a fun little decoration for your ear and can be done in singles, pairs or sometimes even multiples!  Remember that not everybody is anatomically structured for these, so a consultation is recommended before getting your heart set on a look.

Forward Helix

Usually people expect a high amount of pain during a nipple piercing, however if done correctly it can be a little pinchy but not overly painful.  They usually heal well, if irritation is minimised, for both males and females and can be done straight or on any angle.

Although rings can be worn in them, a straight bar is much better for healing and generally considered more comfortable long term.  They can also be stretched to larger gauge jewellery.

A bra is recommended to be worn on the day and during the the initial healing as materiality (nursing) pads are encouraged to be worn.

We do not do nipple piercings on anyone (male or female) under the age of 18 - even with parental consent.

Nipple (single)

Lips are quite a common piercing, mostly because they are easy to have done and heal very quickly. They nearly always require a downsize once healed as the initial jewellery needs extra length to allow for a swelling.

Upper lips can be done centred (philtrum) or on the sides (monroe) and are generally trickier to line up, but heal just as fast as lower lips. Monroe piercings can even be done in pairs for a unique look.

Piercings for 4 People

Surface piercings (imagine an upside down staple with threaded ends) can go nearly anywhere, however low mobility areas (such as the back of the neck or center sternum) have the most success rate.

Dermal Anchors, also just known just as Anchors, are a very versatile piercing that can go virtually anywhere and usually heal quite easily  They are an "L" shaped base with a head (top) that can be changed once healed. They heal so well because they are quite small and are held inside the body through tissue growing in between small holes - hence the name Anchors.

Although rejection is a realistic concern with any surface type piercing, if placed properly they have a good success rate. Flat jewellery is recommended for the healing period and they don’t generally need to be downsized or changed once done.

Contrary to the common myth, they can be safely and easily changed and removed at our studio without any surgical assistance.

Clusters are a funky new style of piercing which incorporate custom designed and hand-made selections of jewellery which are joined together to create a very unique design which often accentuates and highlights specific parts of the anatomy.

They are available in single point (one thread, which can pivot and spit) or multiple point (which is pinned in place and can't move).

You are always best to come in for a consult to discuss possible placement and style options.  Healing can be tricky, as with industrials, as the jewellery is more likely to be bumped and knocked and care needs to be taken to not sleep on the piercing during healing.

Navels, although common, can be sometimes difficult to heal if done incorrectly for your anatomy. It is usually done at the top of the navel, however can be done at any position you'd like!

They can suffer from migration as they slowly move shallower through the skin and may require a downsize as they settle in the future.  Usually more simple jewellery is worn for the healing period, however more elaborate dangle jewellery can be adorned once healed.

Navel

Industrials, also known as scaffolds, are a big 'bang-for-your-buck' piercing as they are highly visible and decorative, but are essentially just two cartilage piercings linked together.

You need to be careful during healing not to knock or aggravate the piercings as they can be prone to mild scar tissue and prolonged healing.

Miscellaneous Ear Piercing

Quite possibly the easiest piercing to get, ear lobes are low in pain to get and generally heal effortlessly!  We often do them in pairs (one each side), however can be done singularly or in any combination!

The higher you generally go on the lobe, the longer it will take to heal due to surrounding cartilage and reduced circulation. Drop on in if you want to see where we can safely do on your ear lobes.

Higher gauge (thicker) lobe piercings are also easy to heal, and can be done up to 6mm initially without any complications. If you are considering high gauge lobes we recommend you come in to the studio for a free consultation.

High nostrils are a variation of normal nostrils, however, are pierced much higher above the crease of the nostril.

They are a little harder to conceal than normal nostrils and usually require multiple downsizes while healing as they stick outwards (not inwards) like a traditional nostril.

Although generally considered harder to pierce, they are not necessarily more painful to get done.

Piercings for 2 People

The tragus is a small pointed piece of ear cartilage which is attached more to the side of your face more so than your actual ear.  Tragus piercings are one of the most common ear piercings, next to the basic ear-lobe. They are a little pinchy, but not generally too painful or throbby to get done.^M

Sleeping on the piercing isn’t recommended while healing as it will drastically reduce your success rate, as well as increasing your chance of scarring.  Headphones/ear-buds and stethoscopes also can not be used on that ear for the entire healing period.

Tragus

Labia Majora (outter vaginal lips) are usually pierced in pairs (one per side), however can be done in multiples if the anatomical structure supports it.  They are purely aesthetic piecrings, meaning the wearer won’t feel an increase in sensitivity during sexual activity, however they can be a lovely addition none the less.

They are slower to heal than labia minora (inner lips) as they pass through thicker tissue and not everyone is suited for them.  Rings are generally the most secure and comfortable jewellery to wear, however curved bars can be adorned once healed.

Pain level: Medium-High

Labia Majora (Outer Lips) [Tue/Wed/Thu/Sat]

Monroe (Side top lip)

Septum piercings are a super easy piercing to get done, although it will bring a tear to your eye. They can be pierced with a number of different jewellery types, including clickers, however there are some limitations to discuss in store.

When open jewellery is worn, such as a circular barbell, they can be flipped up into your nose for total concealment from the second you get it! Generally considered a difficult piercing to get straight, they sometimes need a little adjustment to get them perfect.

They are also easy to stretch and can be pierced at a higher gauge with no problems.

Vertical lip piercings are a fun alternative to a standard lip piercing which won't rub on your teeth or gums. You need to be careful not to play with them during healing or they can get cranky and sometimes migrate.

They will require a downsize during healing as a longer bar is required initially for swelling.  Usually a flat top (plain disc or stone) is used for the healing, however balls can be worn on top once healed.

Webbing piercings are a very general term for a number of piercings, including the tongue web (the skin under the tongue) as well as the smiley (the webbing inside the top lip).

They offer a quick and relatively painless piercing which normally heals very fast. They can be prone to scar tissue if aggravated or played with during healing and are very anatomical, meaning some people do not have the supportive tissue to allow it to stay long term. Come in for a consult if you are thinking about getting one of these done.

Although migration and rejection is a realistic expectation of any webbing piercing, if placed correctly on the right anatomy, the risk can be minimized.

sually any enthusiastic child 4 years old and up shouldn’t be a problem at all! Our studio is kid friendly (let’s face it, we are just big kids ourselves!)

As a professional piercing studio, we ONLY use single use sterile needles to pierce and as standard do multiple piercings in tandem (at the same time). Guns are YUCKY and put your child at risk.

All of our piercers are APP members, you can read more about why that is so important for your little one’s safety.

We have a HUGE selection of professional grade jewellery at our studio, suitable to be pierced with initially in a variety of different sizes/gauges/styles.

There is no charge for first ear lobe piercings, it is a procedure that we do totally for free! You guys just pay for the professional grade ASTM F-136 implant grade titanium jewellery and the sterile saline aftercare spray.

All you need to bring will be your photo ID, a birth certificate and a medicare card with both your names on it.

Ear Lobes (First pair under 16)

Helix piercings are one of the most popular piercings and can be done singularly or in multiples.  Rings can be comfortably worn, once healed, and can accommodate different types of jewellery – including clusters and even septum clickers!

Although very common, cartilage piercings take a lot more care than ear lobes and healing can result in complications if bumped or knocked often.
